, but in the meantime, we may be seeing an African American actor play the part of The Riddler. There’s been talks that Johhny Depp is the one for the role in the next installment of Batman.
But now there are reports that
Eddie Murphy is talks to play the role! Now that they mention it, we could see him pulling it off!
The Sun is also reporting that Rachel Weisz is playing Catwoman, which we can totally see!
These are two actors we wouldn’t necessarily envision in the roles, but now we like it! They also name
Shia LaBeouf as Robin, which we’re on the fence about. The paper was told that, “Chris wasn’t sure if he wanted to do another movie but as soon as he decided to, he got the wheels in motion.
"Eddie’s a fantastic addition. Everyone’s excited to see what he does as the Riddler.” Insiders also revealed to The Sun that the movie will end on a cliffhanger over whether Batman survives a blast at Wayne Towers.
We’ll have to wait for a confirmation from Chris Nolan himself because we're finding all this kind of hard to believe. It might take some time to get used to Eddie Murphy as the Riddler and we're not sure if we will ever get used to it.
