National Treasure Beats Holiday Box Office Records

Disney has a lot to celebrate this holiday weekend as their sequel "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" brought in an estimated $45.5 million from 3,832 theaters.

The original "National Treasure" debuted at $35.1 million over Thanksgiving weekend in 2004. "I Am Legend" lost its spot to No.2 and "Alvin and the Chipmunks" came in at No. 3. Are you guys ready for National Treasure: Book of Secrets? Actors Nicholas Cage, Diane Kruger and Jon Voight were on hand last night for the movie premiere in Ziegeld theatre in New York city.
