Colin Farrell, Ralph Fiennes, and
Keira Knightley are all in the lead for the most nominations for this year’s British Independent Film Awards. Farrell has been nominated for his best actor for his role in In Bruges.
Fiennes has received two nominations in the supporting actor category for The Duchess and for In Bruges. And Keira has received noms for best actress in The Duchess. She competes with her co-star in The Edge of Love, Sienna Miller for best supporting actress.
Michael Sheen will be honored at the award ceremony next month for his achievements during his career. As we previously reported, Sheen will receive an award for bringing global recognition to the British film industry. The award show is November 30th.
