Cher
Cher may be heading back to the silver screen!

Sources say the iconic singer is in talks to star alongside Christina Aguilera in the film Burlesque.

According to EW,in the film, Cher would play the owner of the burlesque club where Christina’s character dances, and ultimately her mentor.

As Hollyscoop previously reported, the film will be directed by Steve Antin, who is the brother of Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Anton. The movie centers on a small-town girl who discovers her dreams at a Cabaret-like venue.

In other Cher news, she turned 63 yesterday. Can you believe how good she looks for her age?! She celebrated with a concert at the Colloseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Keep in mind, Cher won the Oscar for the film Moonstruck in the late eighties. This could be a great match!

Whether Cher stars in this film or not, she will still be returning to the silver screen as she has a forthcoming film titled "The Drop-Out" to be released next year. Anyway, I love this site, but if you're a Cher fan, visit www.cherthelatest.blogspot.com

It has been way too long for Cher to make another movie. She is fantastic in anything she does so this should be great. Look forward to this film and Cher back on the big screen again.
