Cher may be heading back to the silver screen!
Sources say the iconic singer is in talks to star alongside
Christina Aguilera in the film Burlesque.
According to
EW,in the film, Cher would play the owner of the burlesque club where Christina’s character dances, and ultimately her mentor.
As Hollyscoop previously reported, the film will be directed by Steve Antin, who is the brother of Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Anton. The movie centers on a small-town girl who discovers her dreams at a Cabaret-like venue.
In other Cher news, she turned 63 yesterday. Can you believe how good she looks for her age?! She celebrated with a concert at the Colloseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Keep in mind, Cher won the Oscar for the film Moonstruck in the late eighties. This could be a great match!
