According to the
Hollywood Reporter, a new and improved Buffy flick is in the works that will be very different from the first one, and the TV show for that matter. This time around, they want to make Buffy a darker, bigger movie, with potential for sequels.
Original Buffy director Fran Rubel Kuzui is on board, and says, "Everything has its moment. Every movie takes on a life at some point, and this seems like the moment to do this."
