Alice In Wonderland have been released and boy does the movie look amazing!
Johnny Depp, who has now collaborated with Tim Burton for the seventh time, looks freaky as the Mad Hatter. "This character is off his rocker," producer Richard Zanuck says.
The colorful cast of characters, which includes
Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, have "been Burton-ized" says Zanuck.
Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska, best known for her role in HBO's
In Treatment, will play Alice. "There is something real, honest and sincere about her," Zanuck says. "She's not a typical Hollywood starlet."
"The book itself is pretty dark," said Zanuck of the Lewis Carroll classic. "This is for little people and people who read it when they were little 50 years ago."
The movie is set to be released on March 5, 2010. Let the countdown begin!
