Aaron Eckhart’s character Harvey Dent/Two-Face appears to die at the end of
The Dark Knight, but he still wants to be a part of the sequel. According to
Contact Music, Eckhart is lobbying to get the character reprised for the sequel.
He’s trying to convince director Christopher Nolan to bring Two Face back from the dead. Eckhart says, "I think I've talked myself out of the job. I thought I'd died. But you know, America's grown up on soap operas and reinventing people so why doesn't Chris take that into consideration (when he's writing the script)?"
He adds, "If Chris asked me back, I would love to. Heath really was meant to come back as The Joker (for the next movie) as we all would want him to do so maybe this will be the way it is and be its own little thing."
We would love to see Harvey Dent come back for another installment, but it may anger hard core Batman fans if Nolan went off the original storyline. Do you think it’s a good idea to bring Two Face back?
