Is it a bird, is it a plane, no its Superman! Ok fine I know it’s cheesy but I had to do it. Now back to my story!
Only a week away from the release of the long awaited flick "Superman Returns" and the reviews are in! The film is receiving knock-out reviews from critics, especially with newcomer Brandon Routh who is winning over the audiences as the crime-fighting "Man of Steel." The film is Superman's first big-screen appearance since the 1987 movie "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace" starring Reeve. Speaking of Reeve, we can’t deny the striking resemblance Routh has to his Superman predecessor.
The Hollywood Reporter- "a heartfelt Superman movie that plays to a broad audience thanks to an emotionally troubled Man of Steel."
Newsweek - Singer, who left the popular "X-Men" franchise to make "Superman Returns," did the right thing from the start of "this gorgeously crafted epic" by showing respect for the most foursquare comic superheroes of them all.
Time magazine- Singer and writers Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris had revived and revised the story's premise. "The result is an action adventure that's as thrilling for what it means as for what is shows."
Don’t forget to look up into the sky on June 30th when Superman flies into theatres. Until than check out the movie trailer.
