Morgan Freeman Sued by Passenger for Car Crash

Morgan Freeman is being sued by the passenger in his car at the time of a car crash that happened last August.

The woman in the car was Demaris Meyer, who was described as a "family friend" around the time of the accident.

We’re not sure how severe her injuries were, but she’s planning on holding a press conference with Gloria Allred today to discuss details from the crash, and the nature of her relationship with Freeman.

Really? Six months later, and they’re doing a press conference? Leave it to Gloria Allred…

As you may recall, Morgan Freeman’s wife of 24 years, Myrna Colley-Lee filed for divorce two days after the crash.

TMZ reports that today’s conference will "tell the truth about whether or not she was the 'other woman' in an intimate relationship with then-married actor Morgan Freeman when she was seriously injured as he was driving her car late at night."

Let’s not forget about Morgan in this story. He was pretty badly injured himself, sustaining a broken arm, broken elbow, and shoulder damage.

Last month, Freeman told Access Hollywood he still wasn’t able to use his left hand due to the surgery he had to have.

He told them, “I wound up with a lot of nerve damage in my arm, so the hand is still paralyzed. So until the nerves get down there…”

Stay tuned for the press conference at 12 noon Pacific Time!
