Morgan Freeman Released From Hospital

Morgan Freeman was released from the Tennessee hospital he's been holed up at since his car accident earlier this week.

According to Bill Luckett, his lawyer and business partner, Freeman has to wear a neck brace for 6-8 months. He added, "The doctors have said it will be six months to a year before he plays golf again. He hates that."

Now he's free to go home and deal with his messy divorce.

UPDATE: "I left the hospital today just after 12 noon, Memphis time," Freeman said in a statement released by his rep to People.

"I'm doing very well. I feel real good. I just really, I thank the staff at 'Elvis Presley [Hospital]' and many, many thanks to my many well-wishers. It's great to know people care about you.”
