Morgan Freeman Accident Update

As we had reported earlier this morning, Morgan Freeman was involved in a "serious accident" in Mississippi and had to be airlifted to Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee after suffering from multiple injuries.

Good news is Morgan is said to be in "good spirits" despite the fact that he's suffering from several broken ribs and a bad knee injury.

Morgan reportedly lost control of his car, flipping it several times. "They had to use the Jaws of Life to extract him from the vehicle. He was lucid, conscious. He was talking, joking with some of the rescue workers at one point."

We'll keep you posted on his status!

morgan i sure hope for your speedy recovery and my prayers go out to you. but is it true you were driving a 97 nissan maxima? why werent you driving a Bentley or perhaps a Mercedes s66 amg or maybe a BMW 750 or even a range rover? had you been driving one of these cars that implement the latest in safety technology such as side curtain airbags, knee blockers, reinforced door panels, seat mounted airbags, etc., you may have possibly walked out without even a scratch. the 97 nissan maxima is known to have less than a 5 star safety rating and frankly its over 10 years old. im only writing this because i love you and i think you need to not drive 97 nissan maxima's especially since you are probably worth at least 100 million dollars.
