Melinda's third year of putting ghosts in their place comes to a close tonight. As a parting gift, she finally finds out exactly why her father took off for parts unknown all those years ago. She also learns why her mother kept the truth buried for so long. But all these answers don't really settle anything — they only deepen existing mysteries and pose a host of new questions for Grandview's extraordinary medium to seek answers to next season.
Numbers @ 10pm
Megan's number is up as the fourth season comes to a close. It's widely known that Diane Farr is leaving the show (she's pregnant with twins), and tonight is her exit. Megan decides to leave the team due to a crisis of conscience. As for the main story, Don and Charlie hotly disagree when they investigate a case that involves national security. Things get personal when one of Charlie's colleagues is arrested on suspicion of being linked to a terrorist group.
American Gladiator @ 8pm
Season 2 opens with some new gladiators and a flashier arena. Amateur athletes battling in grueling games---and running afoul of the gladiators---include a black belt; a firefighter; a grocery-store owner; and a carpenter. Catch up with tonight's episode and tune in for the new episode on Monday night.
Moonlight @ 9pm
In the series finale, Mick and Josef team up with other area vampires to protect their secret identities after a murder investigation threatens to expose them. Rappers Juicy J and DJ Paul from the Oscar-winning group Three 6 Mafia perform "Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body)" and guest-star in the penultimate episode of the season. Not surprisingly, the story focuses on a drive-by shooting that kills a rising rap star. Don's investigation links the murder to a possible conspiracy that involves embezzlement and bribery. On a happier note, Charlie meets Amita's parents for the first time.
Moonlight @ 9pm
An `undead' private investigator helps the living, instead of feeding on them, by using his acute vampire senses. Tonight, Mick's past comes into sharper focus for Beth when the grandson of his World War II buddy is kidnapped. The disappearance forces Mick to deal with some secrets from his troubled life.
Crossroads @ 9pm
Sara Evans is a little bit country and Maroon 5 is a little bit rock-and-roll, but there's plenty of common ground as tonight's show illustrates. Here they collaborate on Evans' "I Could Not Ask for More" and "Some Things Never Change," as well as Maroon 5's "This Love," "She Will Be Loved" and "Won't Go Home Without You." They also cover a song that was originally a duet by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley: "Leather and Lace."
Ghost Whisperer @ 8pm
Melinda Gordon tries to help the dead communicate with loved ones, `but sometimes the messages she receives are intense and confusing. Tonight, she looks into a 1979 murder trial prosecuted by her father, hoping to find a connection to his disappearance.

Jennifer Love Hewitt must be experiencing a bit of déjà vu tonight: A college kid's death connected to a scary movie has attracted Melinda's attention, and her research into the case lets her know exactly what the film student did last summer. Seems the movie played on people's worst fears, but the horror didn't end after the cameras stopped rolling. Jonathan Murphy (October Road) guest stars.
Numbers @ 10pm
Everyone's favorite science guy, Bill Nye, reprises his role as Dr. Bill Waldie, the head of Cal Sci's engineering department, in this intense episode that centers on an ex-Marine wanted for murdering a serial killer. Complicating the search for the former military man is a hostage situation involving the fugitive's family members.
Moonlight @ 9pm
They're baaacckkk!! Calling all vampire fans:) Beth is kidnapped by the person suspected of murdering her boss, and Mick must decide whether to jeopardize his newfound mortality in order to rescue her. Scoop: the show won the People's Choice award and got a few extra episodes out of it. And how about a second season....oh yes indeed!

Friday Night Lights @ 9pm
Last week, Friedman's First Law of FNL to be that for every person whose life starts going well, another must suffer. How else to explain the improving lives of Tyra and Landry versus the declining fortunes of Smash and Saracen? Tonight, Smash refuses to give up on his college football plans; a visit from Tami's ex irks a jealous Coach Taylor; Street receives life-changing news; and Riggins continues pursuing Lyla despite her new relationship.
Moonlight @ 9pm
That's assuming it comes back in the fall. And that's a big assumption at this point. I spoke to a Moonlight insider late last week and he/she told me that before the strike, CBS informed producers that they had every intention of picking up the show's "back nine." But since the strike started, they haven't heard a peep about whether they'll be going back into production. My guess? Moonlight will be renewed for a 13-episode second season.
Ghost Whisperer @ 8pm
Newlywed Melinda Gordon tries to help the dead communicate with loved ones, `but sometimes the messages she receives are intense and confusing. 'Most of Melinda's efforts involve resolving conflicts that are preventing the spirits from passing over. Tonight, Melinda puts herself in danger when she attempts to help a stalking victim.
Bones @ 8pm
A scientist with an `uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim's bones' solves murders in a procedural series inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Scientist Brennan is often teamed with FBI Special Agent Booth, who mistrusts science and believes evidence should come from the living. Tonight, Temperance and Booth search for a serial pedophile who assaulted and killed a 6-year-old boy.

Moonlight @ 9pm
Previously, Beth became a marked woman and Josh was kidnapped at gunpoint. Mick and Beth tried desperately to save the mortally wounded Josh. Beth asks Mick to turn Josh. Impressive Mick uses the medic skills he picked up during World War II in trying to save Josh's life. And he gave it a valiant effort. I was impressed by everything he did to save Beth's beloved. Tonight, Mick discovers Coraline's secret to becoming fully human again, but he also learns that it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Beth receives some heartbreaking news and deals with it alone, since she is angry with Mick.
Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant! @ 4:30pm, 12am
Ahh, Season 2... can you smell that? It's another ripe installment of lost dignity, loosely orchestrated comedy, and, if we're lucky, cameos from people we all collectively know as "That One Guy from That TV Show" or "That One Other Guy." Let's see if Scott really grows up this time 'round. Sweet moment alert...he proposes to his girlfriend Rene the right way this time!
Rock of Love 2 @ 10pm
Alright dolls, this is it rockin' love...bringin' in the trash! Let's see if he finds some "fake" love this time around. Who says old rockstars ever have to grow up? Does anyone else love the logo with the double swords through the heart? Clever! The big news at first is Bret's got new hair! He's traded in the straggly mess he borrowed from Ashlee Simpson, and now he's got smooth, silky locks that he stole from Barbie. He's pretty. So, who's ready to rock? These stripper (looking) contestants sure are!
The L Word @ 10pm
This show makes it sexy and "cool" to be a lesbian! Even Paris Hilton couldn't resist hangin' with these hot babes at their premiere earlier this month! Last week, it was all about Shane and obviously back to her player ways. It seems like she wants a serious relationship nut can't stick with it long term! I hope Carmen comes back into her life this season. This Sunday, includes a scene written by the winner of the "You Write It" event at LWord.FanLib.com.

Friday Night Lights @ 9pm
Tonight's episode is titled "Jumping the Gun," and it couldn't be more appropriate. First, Coach Taylor shows no mercy for Riggins after discovering him in Julie's room. Later, Eric ruffles more feathers when he not-so-politely asks Shelley (Jessalyn Gilsig) to leave without consulting Tami. Uh-oh. Then a tentatively reunited Riggins and Billy take a very risky approach to paying their mounting bills. In contrast to all this hasty decision making is Smash, who carefully considers whether he should make a verbal commitment to a college. But will his mom agree with his choice....
Moonlight @ 9pm
Josh tries to secure a conviction against a member of a notorious gang in tonight's pivotal episode. In an attempt to force Josh to drop the case, a vindictive drug lord threatens Beth, but Josh refuses to give in. Mick helps protect Beth, so the drug kingpin has Josh kidnapped. What follows has dire consequences for everyone involved.
Monk @ 9pm
The compulsive crime fighter returns (right on time, of course) with a murder investigation that leads Monk into the clutches of an enigmatic cult leader. Howie Mandel guest stars as Father, a charismatic man with a motive for murder: disposing of a former cult member. But he also has an alibi: a whole community of devoted worshippers who claim Father never left his home on the night in question. So Monk joins the group to find the clues he needs to solve the case, but instead he finds a different kind of "truth" in the orderly methods of the cult.
Ghost Whisperer @ 8pm
Last week, I actually found this to be a genuinely charming holiday episode. I thought it was creative and heartfelt without being overly sentimental. It had a good sense of humor, an original premise, and an adorable little boy as the most sympathetic character. The real story behind the ghost's letter was so sweet, and instantly made the "Scrooge-y" central character likable. I even like it that the "Santa" character never crossed over, and loved it that only children [well... and ghost whisperers] could see him. Tonight, Melinda goes to Ned's new high school to investigate what appears to be a series of hauntings.

Ghost Whisperer @ 8pm
A promising musician is forced to abandon his dream when a ghostly energy begins attacking him while he plays. Melinda discovers two spirits are attached to the artist, each claiming the other is to blame for the problem. Meanwhile, Delia is intent on celebrating her late husband's birthday, but Ned wants nothing to do with the ceremony. 'N Sync member J.C. Chasez, billed as Joshua Chasez, guest stars. Side note: if those Playboy offer rumors were true, I think Love would have been great in it...don't ya think?
Men in Trees @ 8pm
When Marin and Cash make a bet to see who can make the better stew, Marin ventures into the forest to find a special root---and gets lost. Meanwhile, newly engaged Lynn wishes Jack would exhibit more passion toward her; Patrick wants to change his surname to better reflect who he really is; and Sara's ex-husband wants full custody of their son, even though she's no longer in the "service" industry.
Women's Murder Club @ 9pm
If you sense a palpable chemistry in this repeat from November, there's a reason for it: When Lieutenant Boxer investigates a pro football player's murder, she meets an NFL star who is the victim's close friend. That pal is played by Angie Harmon's real-life husband, NFL analyst and former player Jason Sehorn.
Moonlight @ 9pm
A convicted murderer who knows the truth about Mick's immortality is released from prison after serving 25 years. New evidence indicates he was wrongly convicted, but Mick knows he's guilty and will kill again. Upon his release, the man targets Mick as his next victim. Latest scoop: there's a very positive chance that Moon will get a full season order and is believed to have tremendous growth potential, not to mention a great sexy star lead Alex O'Loughlin.

Ghost Whisperer: @ 8pm
Kudos to Jennifer Love Hewitt for handling the criticism over her beach bod so lady-like and giving the media a much needed spanking. Not sure if she is a size 2, women across America need to stand by each other! Tonight, it's a ho ho, oh no! Melinda meets the ghost of Santa Claus... well, at least that's who this seasonal spirit claims he is. Gordon Clapp stars as a confused ghost who believes he is the Jolly Old Elf. Melinda's interest in him keeps her away from her family and friends as she abandons her own holiday plans to help the man remember who he really is and remind him of the true meaning of Christmas. Michael Reilly Burke and Dee Wallace also guest-star.
Men in Trees @ 8pm
James Tupper isn't in the cast tonight, but his character, Jack, isn't far from Marin's mind (and she doesn't even know about his ship sinking yet). So perhaps that's why she's less than hospitable to Cash when he asks to move back in with her. She'll come to regret it. And Jane will regret throwing away Sam's favorite shirt (she calls it "ratty") as she cleans house prior to their move to New York. Then there is Annie and Celia's situation with Patrick. They certainly regret that Patrick the amnesiac is so unlike the Patrick they knew and loved, but that doesn't make them peas in a pod.
Moonlight @ 9pm
Last time on Moonlight, the opening scene packed a big punch. I'm surprised and a little disappointed in Mick, considering the state of his undress, and clearly Beth is upset too. Upset enough to stab Morgan/Coraline through the heart with stake. Normally all that would do is paralyze her…Tonight, Mick hunts for an assassin hired to kill Josef and learns a secret Josef kept from him for more than 40 years. Mick also discovers the hit was put out by a dying man with a personal vendetta against Josef.
