"It's frustrating. And it's not ideal," Producer Bingo Gubelmann told Us Weekly at the movies premiere on Thursday.
"It's frustrating, but I'm not going to sit here and trash her because we're young as a company and we've got to live and learn...I don't want to be known as the producer that will turn on any actress at the drop of that hat."
While rolling his eyes, Gubelmann added, "Now, I haven't spoken to her yet because she's totally unreachable, so I don't know exactly what happened. I mean, I'm not as good at taking the high road a some people and yes, it would obviously be nice if she was here. Even just to hang out."
The girl is being involuntarily held at a psych ward! Have some sympathy man! That's a new low, even for a Hollywood producer.
Luckily, the director of the movie was a little more sympathetic about her well being. Director Morgan J. Freeman said: "I hope Mischa is doing OK. My thoughts and prayers are with her. Health first, movie second."
If anything, her hospitalization and the fact that she missed the premiere helped the movie get extra press, so this producer needs to just chill out and stop thinking about his own pocket for one second.
