Mischa Barton to Guest Star on SVU

Mischa Barton has found herself a job! She’s moving away from the CW to a more serious program—Law and Order SVU! According to TV Guide, Mischa will be playing a hooker!

The executive producer of the show Neal Baer started Twittering hints and clues about who he’d cast in the role, and finally came clean saying it was indeed Barton who’d landed the role of Gladys.

Baer says he’s had his eye on Mischa ever since The Sixth Sense. “She’s gone on to do amazing work both on TV and on the stage,” he said.

The episode, set to air March 3, will reveal that Mischa’s character is hiding a secret that will prove complicating for Mariska Hargitay’s Benson. Tune in!
