Mischa Barton is still being held at a psych ward in Los Angeles for undisclosed reasons, but her friends are now coming forward and giving us some insight as to who she had become in the last few months.
Former friends of the actress tell the New York Post that her hard partying lifestyle and alleged excessive drug use left her "Suicidal."
A pal tells the publication, "She's in very bad shape. She's running out of money and can't find love, so now she is looking for a good time to escape her misery. She is on a downward spiral. She is a mess. She is a suicidal, uninsurable mess."
Ouch! Those are some serious claims. To call her a "suicidal, uninsurable mess" is a little harsh and insensitive. Some friend she is.
Mischa's reps still haven't released any information about her "medical issue" or why she's being held under a 5150 hold, but clearly she has some serious issues to deal with, so we wish her all the best during this difficult time.
