Clinton VS. Obama: The Race Is On!

The ’08 Presidential Campaign has just begun and it’s already getting ugly! David Geffen has verbally attacked presidential candidate Hilary Clinton and her peeps came back on an attack. Clinton was pissed that David Geffen and the Dreamworks family were endorsing Barack Obama, but they had reportedly assured her that there would be money coming her way as well. I doubt that'll be the case after all this! It’s becoming the war of the words.

Hilary's spokesperson released a statement talking shit to both Geffen and Senator Barak Obama.

The statement read: "While Sen. Obama was denouncing slash and burn politics yesterday, his campaign's finance chair was viciously and personally attacking Sen. Clinton and her husband. If Sen. Obama is indeed sincere about his repeated claims to change the tone of our politics, he should immediately denounce these remarks, remove Mr. Geffen from his campaign and return his money. While Democrats should engage in a vigorous debate on the issues, there is no place in our party or our politics for the kind of personal insults made by Sen. Obama's principal fundraiser."

Obama shot back saying, "It's not clear to me why I'd be apologizing for someone else's remark. I have said repeatedly I have the utmost respect for Sen. Clinton and have considered her an ally in the Senate and will continue to consider it that way throughout this campaign."

As if Obama wasn’t enough his spokesperson got involved as well. "We aren't going to get in the middle of a disagreement between the Clintons and someone who was once one of their biggest supporters. It is ironic that the Clintons had no problem with David Geffen when [he] was raising them $18 million and sleeping at their invitation in the Lincoln bedroom. It is also ironic that Sen. Clinton lavished praise on Monday and is fully willing to accept today the support of South Carolina state Sen. Robert Ford, who said if Barack Obama were to win the nomination, he would drag down the rest of the Democratic Party because 'he's black.'"

Who do you think will take this race? Who is gonna be our next president? I haven't made up my mind yet but I think it's really too soon to tell.
