Miley Cyrus can consider herself the one person on the planet who dislikes “Breaking Bad”.
While everyone gathered around the TV, your technically savvy friend’s laptop, or a graveyard (hardcore fans who would clearly die for the show got together at Hollywood Forever Cemetery last night) to watch the series finale episode, Miley couldn’t be bothered.
She expressed her disinterest/borderline contempt for what is, up until last night, the best show currently on television to Rolling Stone.
Here’s her explanation:
“America is just so weird in what they think is right and wrong. Like, I was watching ‘Breaking Bad’ the other day, and they were cooking meth. I could literally cook meth because of that show. It’s a how-to. And then they bleeped out the word ‘f*ck.’ And I’m like, really? They killed a guy and disintegrated his body in acid, but you’re not allowed to say ‘f*ck.’”
After articulating her arguable reasoning for taking issue with the media’s inconsistent moralistic perspective, Miley added to her checklist of reasons to tune out the series: Walter White’s coughing fits.
“There’s a lot of [Walt] coughing. I’m in the first season, and the coughing is driving me crazy. Like, we get it. You’re dying. Do you really need a whole two-minute scene of another cough attack? It’s too much. In every bad situation, how does he get out? He just starts coughing.”
