In her ongoing transition from Disney princess to ratchety hoodlum, it seems only natural that Miley Cyrus would follow in the career path of another former Mickey Mouser: Britney Spears.
It has been announced that the “Can’t Be Tamed” songstress has signed on with the former “The X Factor” judge’s manager. No, don’t worry… It’s not Sam Lufti.
E! News reports that Miley has signed on with Hollywood heavy-hitter Larry Rudolph, whose main claim to fame is getting Spears’ wild freight train of a public image back on its rails.
The news serves as reassurance that Miley will aim her future exploits at continuing to make a splash in the music recording industry. Last month it was announced that she had reached a deal with RCA Records, who will release her forthcoming album, Danger Zone.
In addition to Spears, Rudolph’s resume is plump with fellow pop acts including the likes of the Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson, Justin Timberlake and 98 Degrees.
“Larry has the track record to handle an international pop star like Miley,” a source told the entertainment tracker.
According to the report, Miley’s mother will maintain her role as co-manager.
And where Miley’s professional career seems to be on the verge of a facelift, her personal life appears a little shaky in the knees with fiancé Liam Hemsworth. The couple are constantly battling fresh rumors amongst gossip outlets.
The latest in the Hemsworth cheating scandal is that Emma Watson was involved. Probably hoping they’ll just flicker and die, neither Liam nor Miley have yet to address the reports.
