So much for wishful thinking.
Miley Cyrus is speaking out against rumors of a hookup between her and her ex boyfriend
Nick Jonas.
Last week there were reports that Miley and Nick were giving their relationship another try and Miley was reportedly trying to figure out how to tell her current boyfriend Justin that it was over.
Hoping to put the rumor to rest, Miley took to her twitter page (of course!) to clear up the reports. She wrote:
"It makes me sad to think that people out there aren't friends with THEIR ex bf, because let me tell u it IS possible," Cyrus, 16, wrote on her official Twitter page as a "stupidddd rumor," as she put it.
She added, "Justin and Nick are two very amazing people and they both mean so much to me," she writes. "I love both of them so much, and they are both very dear to my heart. Justin is an amazing person! He can always make me laugh and has a heart of gold."
"Nick is so lovely," she continues. "He reaches out to so many people with his music, not only with his talent but with his heart. Our love for music is something that keeps our friendship together and I KNOW NO MATTER [what] he will be my friend forever."
While it’s great that exes can be good friends, they almost seem a little too close, don't they? Maybe the Disney fan in us is still hopeful for a reunion. Who would you rather see Miley with? Nick or Justin?
