Miley Cyrus’ Parents End 19-Year Marriage

While all of Hollywood had their eyes locked on Miley Cyrus’s ring finger to see (or not see) an engagement ring, spurring rumors of an on-again-off-again wedding to Liam Hemsworth, another Cyrus relationship was unraveling at the seams.

Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, has filed for divorce from her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Just three years ago, the tables were turned; Billy Ray had all the documents ready to divorce Tish, but ultimately ditched that route, deciding to mutually work their issues out to salvage their marriage.

They’ve been married for 19 years. They have 5 children together; only one is under the age of 18, their son Noah. Tish wants full physical and legal custody, with visitation rights extended to Billy Ray.

If this tweet Miley sent her dad’s way on Twitter says anything, all apparently isn’t well in their own relationship. Last night she tweeted @billyraycyrus, “since your texts and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this [Twitter].” That tweet has since been deleted from her feed, so we’ll assume he got the message.

UPDATE: Tish told Hollyscoop, "This is a personal matter and we are working to find a resolution that is in the best interest of our family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time."
