Miley Cyrus is married already. In her heart, that is. But as for that rumor started by X17 today that she’s getting hitched in Palm Springs on June 11, it’s NOT true.
Allegedly an eyewitness overheard Miley talking to a friend at Matsuda sushi restaurant earlier this month and Miley blabbed about the date and location.
Really, was Miley just chomping down on a California roll and then was all like, “oh by the way, I’m getting married on June 11 in Palm Springs. How is your tuna sashimi?”
Moral of this story is, Miley’s rep tells Hollyscoop that it’s NOT true. For now, Miley has no wedding date set.
Miley just told the Associated Press that she’s not stressing about her upcoming wedding, in fact it’s not even on her radar.
“I am married in my heart and my mind. I do everything that I would be if I had the paper, but I want to take the time to actually enjoy it,” says Cyrus.
So why is she stalling on the way to the altar? Oh yeah, her music career. I forgot about her YouTube videos that she’s passing off for music videos.
Miley said, “My most important thing right now is ... I want people to hear what I want to say and get my record out, so when there is a time that I can take some time off, I'll feel like I accomplished my stuff," she said. "Then I can take a break and just enjoy being married for a little while."
So Miley needs to get her album out before she gets hitched, which totally is not June 11. Want to hear some more stuff about her music? Yeah, okay.
Miley says her career is like a hybrid of country and hip-hop, “A lot of the beats are produced hip-hop beats, but the vocal is very raw and my voice is kind of on top of all the tracks, which is what I wanted.”
