Miley Cyrus Named Oscar Presenter

Little Miley Cyrus is all grown up! The tween sensation has just been announced as one of the presenters for next month’s Academy Awards. The show producers are trying to boost ratings this year amongst younger viewers, and are therefore adding young Hollywood stars to the show, in addition to former Oscar winners.

Joining the ranks of Miley are Zac Efron, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. They join the previously-announced Sean Penn, Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz, who were all Oscar winners last year.

We’ll have to wait to hear who else will be added to the list! Producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman won’t be secretive about who is presenting like last year, and there's been talk that more than one presenter may be used in the acting categories.
