Miley Cyrus Apologizes For Racy Photos

Earlier this week there were personal photos of Miley Cyrus that surfaced on the Internet. They had Miley showing off some midriff along with her sitting on the lap of her ex-boyfriend. It doesn't end there though because Miley did a photo shoot for the upcoming issue for Vanity Fair which shows the 15-year old naked covered with only a sheet.

Miley's parents and the suits that handle her affairs obviously are not liking the negative publicity their little girl is getting so they've made her issue a statement apologizing. In the apology to People she says, "My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz]. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."

"The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone.

"Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life's journey."

Very true Miley, you will make mistakes but that's OK because you are only 15-years old. The silly pics she took with her friends are just stupid stuff most 15-year olds do so it's ok, but the Vanity Fair pics are sorta inappropriate. Her parents should have never agreed to a photo shoot which would have their daughter anywhere near topless. At the end of the day she's only 15!

I would think her dad Billy Ray would have more sense. He's in the business, so he knows what Hollywood is about and how the game can destroy you. Why would he let Annie or anybody sex up his kid? And that's what she is, a kid.

She didn't appologize for the photos the Disney channel appologize on behalf of her. Which is why everyone is claiming that she appologize so let's clear that fact up right now. On top of that this is not the first time she was wearing something of questionable value. She has been spot is quite a number of outfits dressed older and acting older then her age and it is only a matter of time when she would have done something like this. The fact is Miss Cyrus should have used better judgement on another note though she will hopefully learn and grow from this and allow herself to think twice of how she conducts herself in the future.

she's a fifteen year old girl. all young teenagers have a yearning to look older and look sexy. just because she's in the spotlight, she shouldn't be blamed for these pictures being published. its merely an act of bad parenting

Everyone needs to get a life, 1, She's not a kid she's an adolescent slowly becoming a young woman so someone who said she has the urge to feel sexy is right, 2, nothing to do with her parents they aren't the ones taking the pictures Big Corporate companys can be pushy and there the ones that want the pictures because they know photos that are close to the edge will sell magazines. 3, i think she's pretty and if you look at the picture as a work of art and beauty you'll see nothing wrong with it. If you are getting a sexual message from the picture thats down to your own mind not the photographer or Miley. 4, she is a celebrity and people judge them way too much because even young teens have borderline pictures of themselves that either they took or a friend took and it's just that she's in the spotlight that people are complaining but if she was just a normal young teen that nobody knew the pictures of her that appeared on the internet would never of been advertised to the masses in the news because it's just cause she's with Disney people expect her to act like a princess in olde times would of been expected to behave. but she's not a princess she's a young woman going through some rough changes into full womanhood.

I am appalled to think any parent would approve of Miley's conduct. She is a role model for very young children! Sex does not sell when it comes to children 5-15. These photos are being sold to adults. At fifteen I was exploited by a 33 year old and thought it was cool. It is the role of parent to step forth and set the boundries and teach that it is not cool to be a child exploited by adults no matter what world you live in. These shots are nothing more than porn for older sickos. The fact no one has yet to look in to the conduct of the photographer or the magazine on pornography and exploitation of a minor is shocking. Regardless of the parents', the handler, or Miley's consent, the bottomline is child porn is illegal and Vanity Fair, Annie the photographer, and her parents should be brought up on charges. Miley's actions are telling our children it is okay to take your clothes off for anyone. The fact she is famous or the photographer is legendary is not the message people are hearing. What is being said is that you are telling my child that if a teacher, friend, teen, or adult says they want to take your picture, its okay to strip if they are told its artistic. Miley has made made the jobs of mother's twice as hard when it comes to protecting our children and teaching them about bad adults. In this case she was the victim of a photographer who forgot to look up the law of integrity and minors in the name of art. She has admitted her mistake, but no one responsible such as her parents, the photographer, or the magazine have. Instead they stand behind their work. It is a disgrace and it is disgusting to see young children who don't know better and are relying on the guidance of the adults they trust be taken advantage of. I am appalled to see that celebrity's are stepping up to support or encourage such poor choices. Even more, I am sickened that her father has yet to make a statement regarding the reasons to allow such shots to be taken. While I have not eliminated Miley/Hannah from my daughter's list, I have limited as my daughter will not be listening to the Miley without Hannah cd that she's releasing before I have watched all videos and listened to the music. I no longer trust the integrity of the Cyrus household. While Miley is young and her actions are forgivable, those of her handler and parents are not.

miley cyrus is my rolemodel and i hate to see her post pics.like this but, i do understand that she will defenitly make mistakes and all she has to do is ask for forgiveness for her sins.she is a very good role model and i do hope she reads this!!i love you miles!!!
