Disney Grounds Miley

Disney isn't too pleased with the pics of Miley Cyrus in Vanity Fair, and they want to keep her under wraps for a little while. A senior employee at Disney told the New York Post:

"You won't be seeing her for a while. The company is keeping her away from events and wants her to keep a very low profile for the next four to six months. They're trying to keep her contained."

Yeah, Tara and Terra are totally right. This was Miley's and her parents' decesions. They have nothing to do with her, just her Disney buisness like her contracts, concerts, and show. Personally, there is pretty much nothing wrong with her picture here. This damn girl apologized. When freakin' damn Vanessa Hudgeons had her nude photo leaked, and was everywhere on the Internet to the news, and you saw completly naked, Disney barely did shit! The damn girl was naked because she is stupid, and your letting her be on High School Musical 3. This is really messed up.For sure.

This is ridiculous! The only parts of her body that were actually shown were her face and back. I mean someone with a bathing suit shows a lot more and you don't see the media making a fuss about let say Miley with a bathing suit. The media describe the picture as provocative and nude but it is really neither. She looks very innocent and beautiful in the picture, it is just a work of art. And she had a sheet so nothing but her bare back was shown. I send my respect and admiration to Miley and to those that criticized her: Come on!!!!!!!!

I mean think about all the conterversay Disney has dealt with, and some they created themselves. With Vessessa H. Nude pics the rumors of disney drawing dickes on the cover of the Little Mermaid, the secret message in aladdin(this one is true by the way), the word sex being shown in the clouds of the Lion King,etc. So I doubt highly that Disney is really going to be doing this to her.

I agree with Disney. When you go in contract with Disney, Im sure you are SUPPOSED to keep the whole wholesome look. Especially with Miley, I think it was really crucial since her show is the biggest in Disney Channel right now, an she has so much fans. People bring up Vanessa Hudgens, but I think that's a whole different story. Miley has a bigger range of fans, and if they don't draw the lines to what is acceptable for Disney with her, then I think Disney's wholesome image will suffer. Especially after Lindsay Lohan and Vanessa. And have you seen those slutty pictures of Miley floating around? 15 year olds aren't supposed to be taking pictures like that. Well, its good that she is being kept grounded at a young age. If they let her go now she will end up like poor britney.

I kept a open mind on Miley because I am a fan of her fathers. But when I saw this photo I just couldn't believe it. My problem is her age. If she was 20 or so it would be different. I just don't think it's a good thing to promote to the younger fans she has. I wonder about her parents now too.

Disney is right! Whether you like it or not, she was hired to do a job, part of which is upholding a very reasonable image. If she can't handle that, then she should find a new job like everyone else. Here is a hint: children should keep their clothes on! It should not be that hard.

She is under contract with Disney. She is nearly worth $1 billion. She is 15 years old-still a minor. Most of her fans are that age or younger. THE MOTHERS of those children, like me, have spent money on concert tickets, clothing, toys, shoes, jewelty, posters, and more. My choice, I know, but I was happy to support her efforts as my daughter is a fan. BUT, the bottom line is--I'm deeply disappointed. She virtually promised us that she was the real deal. Well, if she's not going to walk the walk, then stop talking the talk, take your $1 billion and go home! I am so done with Miley and her parents wanting to have their cake and eat it too. Like they didn't already have enough of the American Pie, they had to go and bite off a little more. I guess that's is really what peeves me. This is a 15 year old girl, that my 4 yr old daughter idolizes, I do not think a 15 yr old, that sings for radio disney and has a show that a bunch of little kids watching her should be posing practically nude. I was really happy my daughter looked up to her and not Brittney for example. And now with this new thing coming out, I dont know what to think. But I dont want my daughter to see this. I thought her parents were putting her on the right track. Where were they when this happened?
