Billy Ray Cyrus Talks About Photo Controversy

Why are people still talking about the Miley Cyrus photo controversy? Everyone has moved on! Her own dad, Billy Ray was on the Today Show this morning where he talked about the whole Vanity Fair controversy.

"I didn't know they were going to strip her down and wrap her in a blanket," Cyrus said. "I was surprised when I saw it ... but, hey, that's life. Stuff happens."

When the photos actually became the talk of the town his reaction was, "Okay, this happened. We gotta deal with it."

As for letting her take the pictures in the first place Billy said he couldn't prevent it because he wasn't there. He explained that he had a show to do so he left the shoot early.

Ok, now that everything's clear we can all carry on living our life.
