Billy Ray Cyrus Responds to Jamie Foxx's Comments

If Jamie Foxx thought he could just say 'I'm sorry' about the vulgar comments he made about Miley Cyrus and call it a day, he has another thing coming!

Miley's overprotective father Billy Ray is now chiming in on the feud and talks about how "hurtful" the comments were.

During his weekly radio show, The Foxxhole, Foxx reportedly told Miley to "make a sex tape and grow up," while other guests added that she should "Be like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Be like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian...get some crack in your pipe. Now that's what I want."

During a taping of The Bonnie Hunt Show, which airs on Thursday, April 16, Billy tells Bonnie, “It was hurtful, there wasn’t nothing funny about it, and quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter he might not find it so comedic.”

Foxx tried to explain that he's a comedian and views his show as the "Black Howard Stern," but that doesn't justify telling a 16 year-old to make a sex tape and do heroin. His comments were pretty outrageous and we have a feeling this feud isn't going to blow over anytime soon. What are your thoughts on the situation?

Billy Rays parenting skills or lack of them is no excuse for Jaime Fox to make such a comment about Miley or anyone else her age for that matter! Yes, the girl is in the limelight and is plastered across news and magazines across the world, and flaunting parts of herself that should remain private, but what girl her age wouldn't in the same cercumstances. She's still a child and Jaime Fox should have respected (and known better) the fact that she is growing up as a child star before opening his mouth in what he calls comedy. I give Miley alot of credit for staying away from most of the dangers that are so easy for child celebrities to fall for. Billy Ray should be very proud of her that she hasn't gotten into trouble like alot of other child stars have in our history. I for one am happy not to see her face plastered all over reality shows trying to repent for past mistakes like so many have in the past! Hey Jaime, maybe instead of making rude and uncalled for comments about other celebrities children, you should start watching your own children cuz from what I've learned in life is that children follow in their parents footsteps, and you just left a big print for yours to fall into deep! I'll be curious to see what you do when yours make headlines for arrests or sexual escapades and a "comedian" decides to it's alright to make nasty comments. Miley has done nothing wrong to you or your family to ever warrent such treatment from you. She has inspired millions to lead happy wholesome lives. What have you accomplished in that aspect? Go back to our roots by remembering the old saying "If you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all." Just because you're an old hasbin trying to make a comeback doesn't give you the right or excuse you from talking trash about a child!

Get a grip folks. Miley is a spoiled, immature, no talent seeking publicity any way she can get it. She kinda set herself up with those pics.... I do feel for BR; I protect my kids, too, but he allows her in show biz. Jamie will survive; he's got real talent.

Jamie flapped his lips to get publicity for his sorry movie - seen it it sucks. Billy has every right to be upset. Jamie is not funny -and hasn't been since he did "In Living Color". If Billy said the same stuff about Jamie's daughter you can bet he'd be called a racist and there would be a demand for an apology and money for Al Sharpton to get them all to shut up.

Jamie fox has always been a racist pig. If billy ray would have said this about his (child). Jessie jackson, Al sharpen and the whole NAACP would be knocking down cyrus door. If someone said those things about my 16 year child he would be spending his money on a lawyer and the plastic surgery he would need. Jamie Foxx, certainly doesn't need anyone to speak on his behalf...he can effectively do so on his own, but I think I will chime in on this one! First of all, Jamie Foxx, is a comedian...he makes wise cracks about most things, places and people, where humor can be found! What makes Miley Cyrus, any different from anyone else that he has poked fun of? The funny thing about this to me, is that her father, is being a father in this instance, but his protective and parenting skills go out of the window, when appropriate! Billy Cyrus, has every right to speak on his daughter's behalf, I just find it odd that Billy, has allowed his then, 15 year old daughter to accommodate her 20 year old boyfriend, under his roof! Conveniently parenting on some issues and not all, makes his words null and void! So, Billy...when your daughter acts like she is grown, and she puts it out there, expect the one way street...to become a two lane highway, and please...don't be so quick to blame anyone else other than self! Miley Cyrus, is not innocent, fragile or inexperienced, she has put her business on front street via making out for an audience to see, by taping it and posting it! Miley, is outspoken and at times negligent with her choice of words...and she isn't a comedian...with that I'm done! Jamie your apology wasn't necessary, but respectful and that is a wrap!

I made a point not to watch Jay Leno when his guest was Jamie Foxx. Jamie Foxx was quick to label Michael Richards a racist when Mr. Richards made those terrible comments, and now Jamie Foxx show his true colors with extremely racist insults toward Miley Cyrus. By telling Miley Cyrus that she should just pose nude, sends the derogatory message to a child, and all women, that we are merely sex objects in a men's quarterly. Shame on you Jamie Foxx.
