Mike Tyson's Daughter Dies After Accident

We're sad to report that Mike Tyson's daughter Exodus has passed away following the tragic accident that left her in critical condition. The 4-year-old died in a Phoenix hospital after accidentally getting her neck wrapped in a cord from a treadmill machine at home.

A spokesperson for the Phoenix police released a statement confirming that she was pronounced dead at the hospital at 11:45 a.m. today.

In a statement the boxer said, "We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world.

"There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."

Earlier today Hollyscoop reported that Exodus was found by her 7 year old brother tangled in a cord dangling from a treadmill.

Exodus's mother, whose name has not been released, was cleaning in another part of the house when the tragic accident took place. The mother dialed 911 and administered CPR.

Mike Tyson, who had been in Las Vegas at the time of the accident, returned to Arizona and was seen entering the hospital in the morning. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family during this tragic time! Feel free to leave your condolences for the family below.

Tragic...just tragic. There are so many things out there that can kill our children. I am thinking there should be a safety key on treadmills/exercise equipment or keep it all in an area locked from kids. It really is so sad and I my heart goes out for the family
