Lindsay Lohan was absent from the premiere of her upcoming movie Machete last night, but her co-stars all had great things to say about her.

Jessica Alba told People, "Lindsay is so good in the movie, and I can't wait for her to see it. It’s awesome. She's great. I'm very proud."

Director Robert Rodriguez added, "I can't wait for her to see it," he said. "She's awesome in the movie. She's going to enjoy it a lot. … She can do anything she wants [in this business]. This movie is so great for her. I think she's got a lot of talent, obviously. So, it's all up to her."

Michelle Rodriguez, who has also spent time in jail for a DUI, related to Lindsay’s case.

"This crazy little party girl who loves to enjoy life actually has a purpose," Rodriguez said. "So, that's really the core of why I've survived so many years and I can go and I can fall down and I can get back up. Why? Because I know why I'm here."

Danny Trejo, also in the movie, thinks that was the wake-up call Lindsay needed. "Lindsay's gonna be cool. She knows it. I know it," he says. "You know, she got in a little trouble, and now she's had a little time to put her head together. She'll be alright. We'll pick her up again."

Seems like Lilo is on the right track for now. In her first day free, she was already spotted at the DMV getting her license reinstated. She also turned down offers for “Out of Rehab” parties.

Word to the wise: think twice before asking a temperamental actress to be a part of your wedding day.

Michelle Rodriguez's best friend and manager, Giancarlo Chersich, asked her to be a part of his wedding to Dominican actress and TV host Celines Toribio, and while in theory it must have sounded cool to have a celebrity be in his bridal party, Michelle's behavior was anything but graceful.

According to the NY Post, during the welcome dinner at the Casa de Campo Resort in the Dominican Republic, Rodriguez pushed fully clothed guests into the pool.

The next night, she broke up the bachelorette party yelling that the stripper was "fat and had a small [bleep]."

On the wedding day, as soon the church ceremony wrapped up, she changed out of her bridesmaid dress and showed up to the reception in jeans and a tank top. That's a model bridesmaid for you!

UPDATE: The following message was posted on Michelle's Myspace Blog in response to the story from Page Six:

"Michelle did not ruin our wedding. She is our dear friend and a sister to us. We know that with her, plenty of fun will always be had. Everyone had a great time and nothing happened that offended us in any way. We both are so glad Michelle was able to attend and bring a lot of fun with her to our blessed day. We both love Michelle so much!

Don't MISS out on Breaking News!

'Lost' star Michelle Rodriguez was released early due to severe overcrowding at the prison. Surprise Surprise!

Rodriguez was sentenced to 180 days in the slammer after she violated her probation for a DUI. She was booked on December 24, but was released after just 17 days. She basically only served 10% of her original sentence.

The judge in the case wasn't pleased about Rodriguez getting out early, but ultimately said the Sheriff controlled the jail.

So once again, it looks like Paris Hilton is the only celebrity in DUI history to get shafted.

Michelle Rodriguez has checked herself into Lynwood jail to serve her 180 days for violating her probation. Too bad she's not at the Glendale jail, she and Kiefer Sutherland could have spent Christmas eve together tomorrow.

Don't expect Michelle to go in and out of jail within days. The judge working her case was really pissed that she violated her probation and basically said that an early release or home confinement was out of the question. She will be in the slammer for the full 180 days.

Michelle Rodriguez screwed up so many times while on probation that a judge has decided to send her back to jail and I don’t think this time is gonna be an in and out situation like the last.

Rodriguez will be sent back to jail for 120 for violating the terms of her probation.

She must report to L.A. County jail by December 24, 2007. Aww, too bad for Michelle, she can't share a cell with Kiefer Sutherland who will also be in the slammer at the same time.
