Michelle Obama to Appear on 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition'
Michelle Obama never slows down. The First Lady announced that she will appear on an upcoming episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

I really want to watch, but I don’t like crying, and you’ve got to be a damn robot to watch that show and not shed a tear. Between Extreme Makeover, those ASPCA ads with the one-eyed kittens, and Carrie Fischer’s Jenny Craig commercial, TV is getting really depressing.

But Michelle will undoubtedly help end the show on a happy note. She’s planning to build a new greenhouse and a children’s playground for a community resource center for homeless female military vets in North Carolina.

The White House announced that Michelle is scheduled to travel to the site on Thursday. The episode will air in October.

Hopefully this will help the First Lady redeem herself after critics bashed her for gorging on junk food last week. Because she’s such a huge proponent of child nutrition, the media blasted Obama after she had a 1,500+ calorie meal at Shake Shack in Washington. Lunch included a big, greasy cheeseburger, home fries, a creamy chocolate shake and of course, a Diet Coke. Don’t wanna overdo it.

Hey, everyone has a cheat day. And anyway, the woman is forty-seven and she does the Dougie. Give her a break.
