Party Crashers: We Did Not Party-Crash the White House

Matt Lauer got the big interview this morning! Lauer spoke to the "White House Party Crashers" on The Today Show. The couple denied crashing the party and claims they were actually invited.

Before his interview, Matt asked the Tareq and Michaele Salahi to confirm that they were not getting any money for the interview to clear any confusion.

"We were invited. Not crashers. And there isn't anyone who would have the audacity or the poor behavior to do that," Machaele Salahi said. "The White House is the house, and no one would do that."

When asked "Who invited you?" Tareq stated that the couple was working the Secret Service and they were not able to give that information out at this time, but would do so when the investigation was over.

"This has been the most devastating thing that's ever happened to us," he said. She said, "Our lives have been destroyed. Everything we worked for, Matt. For me, 44 years, just destroyed."
