Michael Sheen. biography
Michael Christopher Sheen was born on February 5, 1969, in Newport, Wales, and began his profession acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1988. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting in 1991, Michael landed his first professional on-stage role in the Globe Theatre's production of When She Danced. He then made his on-screen debut in the 1993 drama miniseries Gallowglass.
Ensuing several theatre productions, Michael returned to the big-screen in the action dramas Gladiator (2000) and The Four Feathers (2002) prior to landing a supporting role as Lucian, a werewolf, in the fantasy thriller Underworld (2003). The following year, Michael played an irresponsible rock god in the romantic comedy Laws of Attraction and went on to reprise his role in Underworld: Evolution (2006).
That same year, Michael received critical praise for his portrayal of Tony Blair in the biopic drama The Queen and later co-starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the drama thriller Blood Diamond. In 2008, Michael gave another well-received performance as reported David Frost in the history drama Frost/Nixon before returning to his role in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) and switching over to the vampire side in The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009).
In 2010, Michael voiced the role of The White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland and made an appearance on the TV series 30 Rock. A year later, he landed a supporting role in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris and reappeared as a vampire in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 as well as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 in 2012.
Michael's most recent projects include, the comedy Admission (2013) with Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, the family adventure flick Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box (2013), the made-for-TV drama Masters of Sex (2013), the thriller Cut Bank (release date unknown) and the mystery film Crooked House (unknown).

May 1993 - January 2003
Michael and English actress Kate Beckinsale first started dating while performing in the touring production of The Seagull during the early 1990s. They moved in together soon after and welcomed their daughter Lily Mo Sheen in 1999.
The eight-year relationship reportedly came to end due to Kate's infidelity, a claim she admittedly denied.
2003 - 2010
Michael began dating English ballet dancer Lorraine Stewart after they met at one of the National Theatre's ballet performances in 2003. They carried on a seven-year relationship before parting ways in mid 2010.
August 2010 - February 2013
Michael and Canadian actress Rachel McAdams first caught each other's eye on the set of Midnight in Paris and began dating shortly after. They kept their romance on the down low before going public in October 2010.
Rachel later opened up on their romance to Stella magazine in January 2012, saying, "Michael and I didn't get together while we were filming Midnight in Paris, which I feel strongly about not doing when I'm working. We became quite good friends, which I think is a great way to start. I felt very blessed to have made a Woody Allen film in Paris together."
Their relationship lasted for over two years before coming to an end in early February 2013.
