Michael Lohan Charged With Second Degree Harassment
Forget Lindsay, Michael Lohan is making scandalous headlines all on his own.

Yesterday we reported that Michael's ex fiancé Kate Major filed a restraining order against him claiming that he shoved her and kicked her in the face and it seems the judge sided with Kate because he was just formally charged with second degree harassment.

Michael was charged by the Southampton Police Department today but he will be formally arraigned on August 18, reports TMZ . If he fails to appear -- a judge can issue a bench warrant for his arrest.

Michael of course denies the allegations. He released the following statement to Hollyscoop via his attorney Lisa bloom:

"Michael Lohan 100% denies each and every one of Kate Major’s allegations. He has never threatened to harm her, never assaulted her, and never physically abused her in any way.

"Kate was heavily intoxicated during the verbal argument between Michael and Kate on Monday early afternoon. Michael Lohan has been clean and sober for six years. Michael Lohan is fully cooperating with the police investigation.

"No charges have been filed. He expects to be fully vindicated."

Yikes, looks like we have a new Mel/Oksana case on our hands. Who do you believe?
