With the drama cranked up high in regards to Michael Jackson’s estate, the Jackson family could really use a superhero.
It sounds like that hero could be Tito Joe Jackson – aka TJ – the son of Michael’s brother, Tito. The family member is reportedly working with his lawyer to draft up legal documents in an effort to obtain temporary guardianship over Michael’s kids.
According to TMZ, Paris, Prince and Blanket are all in favor of TJ watching over the minors for the time being, which is a mandatory requirement under California law.
The source also reports that TJ has acted as a father figure to the children in the past.
Michael’s estate is currently awaiting word on whether the Probate judge will grant TJ’s request.
The kids were thrown into a whirlwind of family drama starting this weekend when Paris tweeted that she hadn’t seen her grandmother and current guardian, Katherine, in over a week.
Her claim sparked a missing persons report to be filed and a police investigation to ensue. Katherine later turned up in Arizona with her daughter Rebbie. Some have equated the move from MJ’s siblings to kidnapping the kids’ guardian.
Since then a reported physical altercation went down at the family’s home.
Paris continued her rant today, tweeting, “9 days and counting… so help me god i will make whoever did this pay.”

TJ has added to the public conversation, tweeting at Paris, “"I know it's completely unfair for them to do this to you and your brothers. We will keep trying. I love you."
