Today we remember the King of Pop, whose sudden death shocked us all just three years ago.
June 25, 2012 is the three-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death. The multi-talented Jackson died of an overdose of drug anesthesia Propofol. Since then, with a Lifetime Grammy Achievement Award, an Oprah special, rumors of a hologram, a Pepsi product line and more, it surely seems that his legacy is living on strong.
Michael’s only daughter, Paris, recently tweeted a photo of her late dad and mom with the caption "Mommy and Daddy!

Jackson's daughter made an appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s new show “Oprah’s Next Chapter” earlier this month[http://www.hollyscoop.com/michael-jackson/oprah-sits-down-with-paris-jac.... On the episode, the aspiring actress addressed some of Michael’s questionable parenting techniques, like making his kids where masks.
"He told us that when he was younger he didn't really have a childhood," she said. “He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that."
Michael died at the age of 50. He suffered a cardiac arrest in his Holmby Hills home. Paramedics who arrived on the scene were unable to revive him. After being rushed to UCLA Medical Center without a pulse, his unresponsive condition did not improve and his death was declared.
In addition to Paris, Michael is survived by his children Michael Joseph Jack Jr., Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II, as well as a timeless musical legacy.
