The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty has finally gotten an air date. The special, depicting the Jackson brothers coping with the death of Michael, and also preparing for a concert, will air on A&E on December 13th.
Back-to-back hour long episodes will air that night, kicking off a sex-episode series. The show will focus on the lives of brothers Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Marlon Jackson as they prepare for a reunion tour that was supposed to include a performance by Michael at a concert in Texas next summer.
Shooting on the series began again after Michael’s death in June, and episodes will also reportedly focus on the brothers' reactions to the shocking passing of the King of Pop.
As for Michael’s three kids, there have been conflicting reports about whether they will appear on the program. An A&E spokesperson would not comment.
This is the first time the brothers have been together in the studio for 20 years. Watch a preview of the show here here
