Quincy Jones: Michael Didn't Want to Be Black

Michael Jackson's longtime friend and producer Quincy Jones has come forward with a shocking claim: Michael "didn't want to be black."

Quincy says he didn't believe Michael was suffering from vitiligo, a condition which changed the color of his skin, but he wanted to change the alter his appearance.

Quincy told Details magazine: "I don't believe in any of that bulls**t, no. No. Never. I've been around junkies and stuff all my life. I've heard every excuse. It's like smokers - 'I only smoke when I drink' and all that stuff. But it's bulls**t.

"You're justifying something that's destructive to your existence. But when somebody's hell-bent on it, you can't stop 'em.

"What his face turned into is ridiculous. Chemical peels and all of it. And I don't understand it. But he obviously didn't want to be black. You see his kids?"

Jeez have some remorse man! Michael hasn't even been buried yet and Quincy is already giving interviews calling him a "junkie" and slamming his looks.

Sure Michael was a little different, strange even, but he was still the same Michael we all grew to love--black or white. Have some respect Quincy!

chemical peels and all that stuff????? PLEASE people WAKE UP!!!! Do you honestly believe that a black man can turn to being white with any kind of creams or peels??? If that was possible, there would have been others to do the same!!!changing your color is not possible!!! BUt what is possible is to have vitiligo and what you can do about it.There treatments for vitiligo that include peels,creams and medication. This way you can speed up the process and loose the reamining color sooner that it would normally take. And you don't become white!!!! You become PORCELAIN WHITE like an ALBINO. You are not permitted to go out to the sun and you have to use make up.Usually some bloches remain-they are obvious in they don't care about us video. Michael could afford it and he did it!!! And he didn't go out and talk and cry about it and I admire him for it. He had to deal with loosing his natural skin color and with the press. As for the children...that was a mistake of Quincy to refer to them...his daughter is white! Michael married white women but his idol was James Brown, his first and maybe strongest love was Diana Ross,the beautiful girls in his videos are all BLACK, he turned into a BLACK PANTHER in black and white.he talked openly against racism. As for closest friends, who said they were only white??? Unless of course Akon, Cris Tucker, Eddie Murphy, Dianna Ross are white and there's something wrong with my eyes! The nanny for his children was black!!! Michael has friends from all religions and color. He considered Quincy a friend, but he was wrong.Michael's mistake is that he was way too trusting. So Quincy I've got two words for you: MONEY and JEALOUSY. You're after the first and you are eaten inside by the second. Now you're remaking we are the world. Hadn't Michael died would you even consider doind it? I doubt it! What's wrong? no inspiration for a new song?You're taking advantage of the late interest in Michael? And you're keeping MJ's vocals in it so that the MJ fans buy it too?? I got news for you! We will buy it to support Haiti! We will buy it because Michael wrote it 90%. And you will get all the credit so I hope you're happy that you're in the spotlight again. Just remember that Michael always thanked "the wonderful great Quincy Jones". What about you? In his own words: "it don't matter if you're black or white".It's obvious Michael was born black and wanted desperatly to be white.He changed his skin color on purpose,he married two white women, he specifically wanted white children,most of his closest friends were white.It doesn't mean that he was ashamed of being black. I think he was just so insecure about his looks from such a young age (because of his father).He lived in such isolation in an area that is so vien, superficial and materialistic. He had the $$$$ and the means and he just took it way too far.I think it started out as just a nose job and it became an addiction in and of itself.He died a little black boy in a white mans body, but Michael was ALL colors of the rainbow in his heart, and that was his true beauty.

I admire Mr. Jones for telling the truth.Honesty is very rare these days. Everybody talks about his money. "He DIED A PAUPER". Even his attorneys say he left no liquid assets. In plain language, that means no cash.
