Michael Jackson's kids are reportedly having a hard time fitting in at school because their scary bodyguards are totally cramping their style.
Prince Michael, 13, and Paris, 12 have enrolled in The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley of California, but are struggling to make friends because the huge guys following them around are a tad intimidating for the other kids. Duh!
A parent at the school told PopEater: "The bodyguard situation really is a bit intimidating to other kids. And that makes them hesitant to approach Prince and Paris.”
The bodyguards apparently accompany Paris and Prince to their classes, to their lockers and even watch them during lunch hour. Jeez, no wonder no one wants to talk to them!
MJ's mother Katherine was hesitant to send them to school with other kids because she knew Michael wanted them home schooled, but she figured it would be a good way for them to make friends. Guess she didn't think the scary bodyguard thing through.
But Michael's longtime friend Lionel Richie thinks sending them to regular school will give them a better chance at living a normal life.
He said: “I think they have a better chance now. I think they have a better opportunity to live a normal life. It's hard to be Michael Jackson's kids because you're out and it's you with Michael Jackson, and he was larger than life.”
It's only a matter of time before some kid goes up to them and wants to make friends. Who wouldn't want to be friends with MJ's kids?!
