Michael Jackson's Kids Get a Major Allowance Boost
January 15, 2010 by: ANI ESMAILIAN

In a hearing this week, lawyers for the MJ's estate appealed to raise the sum paid to Michael's mother Katherine, who is the guardian of the three children because the $60,000 she was getting to take care of them isn’t enough. Families of four survive on $60K a year, but apparently it's not enough for just three kids--a month.
According to RadarOnline.com, Judge Mitchell Beckloff was asked to increase "the family allowance to the children," with attorneys submitting a figure for the judge to consider.
It's unclear how much of an allowance they got--but we hear it's a pretty penny. We're not even sure what the additional money would be used for but clearly it's good to be a Jackson.
