Michael Jackson
The news of Michael Jackson's death very well may be the biggest story of the year, let alone the day.

The world is in a state of shock over the death of the King of Pop, especially since it came just a few hours after the death of Farrah Fawcett.

Within minutes of news breaking of Jacko's death, several websites came to a crashing halt--Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, and AIM, to name a few.

It's not surprising, since anytime anything happens in Hollywood, celebrities don't hesitate to update their statuses. The sites all still worked, but at extremely slow paces.

The last time this happened was when Barack Obama was sworn into presidency.

Bridget you think in death you could show more respect and call him by his birthname? It's JACKSON not "jacko".
