Michael Jackson’s only daughter Paris Jackson is already moving into showbiz. Paris is so wise beyond her 13 years and has convinced her guardian and grandmother Katherine Jackson to let her star in a movie.
Paris will play the heroine in a fantasy flick called “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys.” The movie is to feature both real and animated characters, and I’m guessing will be aimed at children.
Apparently, the Jackson family agreed that all the kids would have to wait until they were 18 to begin Hollywood careers, but Paris begged Katherine to let her do the movie because she thinks the film has a message that her dad would have loved.
A source tells the Sun newspaper “her character’s strong love for her father is central to the plot.”
The movie would be based on the young adult fantasy series by Dennis H. Christen, which tell the story of a dolphin turned a human by magic while some evil magic turns a teenage boy into a dragonfly and a good jellyfish queen morphs into an evil fairy godmother.
Uhhh…I have no words for that plot synopsis, other than, invest in some high-quality hallucinogenic prior to entering the theater.
Anyway, good for Paris, the profits from the film are said to be going toward funding the US public school system.
It seems like little Paris is following in her dads footsteps, many were wondering if the Jackson family would want their kids to go into “the biz” especially since Michael struggled with the hazards of being a child star, but Paris seems very well adjusted considering what has happened to her family.
Also, her dad Michael was not just a popstar. He rocket to fame at age 8 as the lead vocalist in the family band The Jackson 5, but he also grabbed his first film role at age 20 in “The Wiz” a musical take on “The Wizard of Oz.”
Meanwhile, Paris has been making some public appearances lately. Last month she sat front row at a Chris Brown concert and showed her love for one of the only popstars that comes close to dancing as good as her dad.
Then last week, Paris and most of the Jackson family were special guests at a taping of the X Factor where all performers gave tributes to Michael Jackson.
The family also attended the premiere of the new Michael Jackson inspired Cirque de Soleil show “Immortal.”
