Michael Jackson: 'The Life of An Icon' Giveaway

Michael Jackson will forever be remembered in the hearts of many—everyone from his friends, to his family, to his fans.

An all-new documentary, Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon, is a full-length tribute to the pop star. Available on Blu-ray and DVD, the tribute features interviews with David Gest, Katherine Jackson, Tito Jackson, Rebbie Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Dionne Warwick and more.

And the good news is, three of our Hollyscoop readers will win a copy of Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon on Blu-ray, along with their very own Blue-ray player!

Michael Jackson is known to millions of fans across the globe for his record-breaking albums and groundbreaking success. But the personal, true story of the legendary singer’s life has never really been told. Until now, that is.

A trailer for the documentary opens with a young, adorable Michael dancing in the Jackson 5. In a snippet from an all new interview, his mother, Katherine Jackson, recalls that when her son would start singing, “it was like shooting a rocket up to the moon.” The trailer then shows Michael at various performances, in the throes of fans, and hails his success as “the greatest entertainer ever.”

Katherine Jackson has called this film a project she “so strongly believes in.”

“David Gest, who was one of Michael’s closest life-long friends, has done a brilliant job in enlightening people to who the real Michael Jackson was,” Katherine says. “This movie is a true vindication of my son and some of the terrible things that he was put through in his life. I hope people will watch this film and understand more.”
