Michael Jackson Film To Run for Two Weeks in Theaters
Earlier this month, Sony Pictures announced the movie about Michael Jackson’s final weeks had gotten the green light. And now the studio has made a statement saying the film will open worldwide on October 28 and be shown in theaters for two weeks.

The movie, which will be entitled This Is It/>, is described by Sony as an "intimate portrait of Michael Jackson as you've never seen him before.”

Tickets for the movie will go on sale on September 27th, so mark your calendars! Sony claims the film has the full backing and support of the Jackson estate.

The movie’s director Kenny Ortega says, "This film is Michael's gift to his fans. It's a very private, exclusive look into a creative genius's world."

"With this film, we get a rare portrait of Michael as he prepares for his final curtain call and what I believe was going to be his master work.”

Theaters are sure to be packed on the opening day, so don’t forget to buy your tickets early!
