Katherine Jackson to Get Full Custody of Michael's Kids

Michael Jackson's mother Katherine will receive full custody of Michael's three children, Prince Michael I, 12, and Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7, under the terms of a deal that has just been reached, her lawyer told The Early Show Thursday morning.

"There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson," L. Londell McMillan said.

When asked about the financial situation surrounding the Jackson estate and whether or not the kids will be taken care of financial, he added, "That estate is worth, in my estimation, a couple of billion dollars," he said. "You hear $500 million. Don't buy it."

Prince Michael I and Paris' biological mother Debbie Rowe will visit and maintain her legal parental rights under an agreement reached by both sides, but considering how absent she was in their lives before Michael's death, we doubt we'll be seeing much of her.

According to the Los Angeles Times, “Debbie is really happy” about the arrangement, said the source, refusing to be identified because the agreement has yet to be announced.

There's going to be a different statement released later this week that will outline the details of the custody agreement, including how often Debbie will be allowed to visit the kids.

Sounds like the judge made the best possible decision for the kids. Katherine has helped raise Michael's children since they were just babies, so Grandma has basically been the only mother they've ever know.

Debbie Rowe didn't have these children with love, she had them to create a life style for herself. Money was her main objective. I know if I found out my so called mother had me for a money deal, I wouldn't me interested in her at all. Rowe is talking now about getting physcological treatment for Paris and Prince Michael. The person needing treatment is Debbie Rowe.

I'm verry happy that MJ kids are staying with grandma Jackon she has been a real mother for those kids I don't agree that Miss Debbie will have visitation rights she doesn't deserve it specially when she wants them to call her Debbie not mom. the only thing that she wants is more money.

This is such wonderful news. The children know and love there Grandma, how could anyone give them to Debbie Rowe. When there older they will make up there own minds.I am so pleased they are staying with the Jacksons.Rowe would never cope with the publicity they would bring to her. Much better for the kids.

I agree that the loser grandfather Joe is kept away from the kids. All he will exploit them as he has all ready done for his new record company. As to Debbie, she wanted to make sure the kids were taking care of and had every right to be involved even though she probably not visit them.

Michaels Mom is truly the best choice. As long as Debbie and Joe stay away from those kids they should grow up as normal as they possibly could. Katherine should spot ole Deb a $20 every now and then. That will keep her away. Hell, she already SOLD her children.

Good for her now let poor Michael rest in peace.

Thank God! This is such good news! Michael would be really pleased with this decision. I hear Debbie will have visitation rights, as she had before. The kids will surely find out that Miss Debbie is a little more than just a family friend.
