Justin Timberlake to Save Michael's Sold Out Shows?

While millions of fans are mourning the loss of Michael Jackson, thousands of fans who purchased tickets to his This Is It tour this summer are upset that they may be out a lot of money.

As Hollyscoop reported earlier, the 50-show run at the O2 Arena was expected to be the highest-grossing concert of all time. Over $85 million in tickets had been sold for the shows. $30 million has been spent on production, plus the $10 million AEG has fronted Michael for an advance.

Michael passed away just 24 hours ago, but we hear that Justin Timberlake is already in talks to save his summer tour.

JT is apparently rallying support for a special memorial show at London’s O2 Arena to mourn the death of the King of Pop and allow fans to pay their respects.

“Michael was Justin’s idol, like he was for many artists,” says a source close to the singer. “Right now he’s still in shock but already there is a big feeling that he and maybe some others in the entertainment industry should do something to show their admiration for Michael and his music.

“Michael was working so hard to make his comeback in London work so it would be fitting if Justin and some of his friends fulfilled at least some of that commitment in some small way.”

If Justin can pull that off, it would be an amazing concert. Rally up the troops like Chris Brown, Kanye West, Rihanna and Madonna and they can have one of the best concerts to date! What do you guys think of the idea?

I dont think its a good idea for those artists to perform in place of Michael jackson they are not good enough and not at the level at all. Specialy one like justin timberlake who cant sing nor dance and is so bad at everything. That will be a disgrace for MJ. Some other people from the entertainement will be a better choice. Who will only sing Michael Jacksons songs and dance his personal dance steps. We dont need some monkey in need of money and fame an dattention ot go shwo their arse on his stage and give the guy a bad name. He isnt yet burried that they all jump to can steal some of his glory and get some for themselves. How typical! When you are as big as Michael jackson, as big as it can get, you cannot trust anybody. Not even kids and family that you help. Not even his own family, and not even his own doctor. Thats the heavy price to pay. Its discusting! All they talk about is money. Michael Jackson was virgin, so it was very cynical that he got accused of child abuse when he was abused all his life, all his childwhood, by his father beating him for the smalest thing, if he wasnt performing 100% perfect even at home! that destroy him so much it hurted him. He was the molested child! He had no childwhood and was so much traumatised by it that he remain at that age: a child, all his life. No he wasnt a weirdo at all. nothign wotrn in havign a ranch and nothign wrong in having a park when oyu cnat get out without paparazi sweiming around you. nothign special in getting too many nose job whenyour dad always mock oyu even as an adlult for being ugly and having too big of a nose. I do think they should open Neverland as a park for kids, Michael would have liked that. I believe Michael did love kids, but he didn't make out with them. Im so sick and tired of everyone bashing Michael Jackson. Was you there or do you have any proof of any crap he was being accused of, um nope I dont think so. I read the same thing on CNN. Far more reliable. That it was fans wanting tribute concerts with all the artists that looked up to MJ. I saw pictures of Timberlake when news came down at Eltons ball and he looked devastated by it. Doubt he's thought about putting this together.

You do realize the Sun is a tabloid? The fans who hold tickets, alot are requesting celebrities LIKE justin and usher and neyo etc. fill in with tribute concerts. Justin isn't putting this together.
