Joe Jackson wants someone to show him the money! According to
TMZ, he requested from a judge to get a monthly allowance. And of course that money would be coming directly from his late son
Michael Jackson’s estate.
Joe filed papers in LA County Superior Court today, claiming he's "entitled to his own independent family allowance."
The papers, written by Joe’s manager Leonard Rowe, claim Michael used to give his mother Katherine Jackson up to $60,000 a month to live on and that she was supposed to split it with Joe.
Joe claims Michael's estate has "earned more than $100 million dollars in the first seven weeks following Michael Jackson's death" and is "well able to afford a family allowance for Joe Jackson."
Joe says he has $15,425 in total monthly expenses, including the following:
-- $2,500 eating out
-- $2,000 in air travel
-- $3,000 in hotel bills
-- $1,000 in groceries
-- $1,200 in rent
-- $50 in charitable contributions
And Michael should be paying for those things...why?? Joe is just making himself look even shadier than he already was. Do you think he’s entitled that that much money per month just because he’s Michael’s father?
