Even after yesterday’s three-hour autopsy on
Michael Jackson produced no signs of foul play, the Jackson family still has a lot of unanswered questions.
Michael’s father Joe Jackson seems skeptical about his son’s death, telling
People, "That's what we're trying to find out right now. We're trying to find out that information. When we find it out, we'll know."
"There's a lot to be told, though, I'll tell you that right now. The truth! The truth is still to be told."
Joe’s statement insinuates that he thinks someone is lying. Could he be talking about Michael’s doctor, Conrad Murray?
According to the 911 tape released yesterday, Michael’s staffer who made the call tells the dispatcher that Jackson is on the bed and that his doctor was trying to resuscitate him. But many are pointing the finger now at Murray, a longtime cardiologist, who apparently would know better than to try and revive someone on a bed. It’s common practice to perform CPR while on a hard surface.
TMZ also reports that Michael was injected with Demerol at 11:30AM on the day he died, and that he had been receiving such injections every day.
Dr. Murray will be questioned by the authorities at some point, and we’re sure this will be a part of their investigation. As for now, we’ll have to wait 4-6 weeks for the toxicology report to come in to know any more information.
The Jackson family attorney Brian Oxman told
Us Weekly yesterday, "It is something which is private to Michael, and we'll have to wait for the toxicology reports before we jump to any kind of conclusions. I only know that I warned that his day may come. And lo and behold, here we are."
