Michael Jackson
Millions of fans are expected to flock to Los Angeles this morning to either attend or witness Michael Jackson's memorial service held at Staples Center in downtown L.A.

The memorial is expected to begin at 10 a.m. 8,750 lucky fans got two free tickets to the memorial service at Staples Center, but the rest of Michael's fans will have to view the event on a big screen at the Nokia Theatre, which is located across from Staples.

Hollyscoop is at the memorial speaking to fans, who came out to celebrate the life of Michael Jackson. One lucky fan from Africa flew all the way to Los Angeles with the hopes that she could score one ticket to the memorial. Her wish came true when a stranger, who was touched by her story, handed her a ticket to the memorial.

Media outlets from all over the world have set up in front of the Nokia theater, for what's said to be the largest celebrity send-off in entertainment history.

All major networks are going to broadcast the event live. Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. has also arranged to broadcast the service live at 88 movie theaters across the country, including in Los Angeles, Monrovia and Tulare. Click HERE to view a list of the theaters.

A private funeral service will be held for Jackson at Forest Lawn prior to the public service at 8am. Michael's body is currently being held there.

Also on Monday, the Jackson family announced the participants for the public memorial:

The list includes, family friend Ron Boyd; Kobe Bryant; Mariah Carey; Andrae Crouch Choir; Berry Gordy; Jennifer Hudson; British singer Shaheen Jafargholi; Magic Johnson; Martin Luther King III; Bernice A. King; John Mayer; Lionel Richie; Smokey Robinson; Rev. Al Sharpton; Brooke Shields; family friend Pastor Lucious Smith; Usher; and Stevie Wonder.

We also just got word that Justin Timberlake was added to the list of performers, which includes Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson. More details coming soon!

Michael Jackson's Memorial Service was beautiful, yet much too short...there was so much more to be said of this incredibly gifted and giving human being! When one is viewed as different, it is never an option to try or automatically easy, for the "average" to comprehend! What needs to be noted is that average, shall remain just as, staying the same, playing over and over the same silly games...being different offers less traveled roads, unique opportunities where the average cannot go...dare to go! Michael Jackson's service today proved just how different he was, he gave his life to change this very ugly world...and still the average can not comprehend! Amazingly, the only thing Michael Jackson wanted was to be everyone's friend! He didn't see color or region, everyone to him was the same! Wow, what it must have been like to be him!!! So I say let the average continue to be just, in due time everyone, including the average, will have a day of reckoning to come! For those who have allowed Michael Jackson to inspire them to be of love and happiness, today we understand, just what it meant to be him, to have hurt so much...but through his pain, never once did he ever walk away! He kept giving until it was all given away! That is not the work of anything average! That my friends...was the work of a Man with a Love that was more than different...it was unprecedented! Get your hearts together people....Sloane!
