Where in the world is Michael Jackson’s mom? Well, we figured that one out… But what in the world is going on with Michael Jackson’s estate?
With all the drama going on in MJ land lately, it’s hard to know where the kids fall in the mix. Turns out that the executors of the late pop icon’s estate are reportedly seeking emergency guardianship of Prince, Paris, and Blanket, citing that they are not under the proper supervision.
TMZ reports that sources close to the situation are saying that, with the children being the primary beneficiaries of the estate, the executors feel responsible for their well being and are moving in to protect them.
The sticky situation all started this past weekend when Paris tweeted that her 82-year-old grandmother Katherine had gone missing.
“Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven't spoken with her in a week I want her home now,” she said.
Eventually, Katherine turned up, vacationing with her daughter Rebbie in Arizona. However, the MIA granny set off a series of red flags as she is the legal guardian for all of Michael’s children.
The executors are saying that Michael’s siblings basically kidnapped Katherine, leaving the kids in the lurch.
Things got even more heated yesterday afternoon when an alleged argument turned physical at the Jackson family home in Lost Hills. Sheriff Steve Whitmore tells Hollyscoop that officers were called on to the scene around 1:08 p.m. as a result.
"Two members of the family were in an argument. When our Deputies arrived, they determined that it was a minor scuffle," said Whitmore. "We responded to specific complaints. There were no arrests made. There were no citations. Everything was calm upon our departure."
Meanwhile there is all sorts of other clashing going on between executors and Michael’s siblings are working to prove that Michael’s will was a fraud and give the current people running the estate the boot.
According to TMZ, the executors are drafting up guardianship papers as you read this.
