Coroner: Propofol Killed Michael Jackson

More information has been released about Michael Jackson’s death right on the heels of news that Dr. Conrad Murray has been officially charged with involuntary manslaughter.

TMZ has a copy of the full death report from the LA County Coroner, which has been sealed up until now. According to the report, the death is classified as homicide by the drug Propofol.

Here are the 4 items named by the coroner, as reported by TMZ:

1. Circumstances indicate the Propofol and the benzodiazepines were administered by another.

2. Propofol was administered in a non-hospital setting without any appropriate medical indication.

3. The standard of care for administering Propofol was not met. Recommended equipment for patient monitoring, precision dosing and resuscitation was not present.

4. The circumstances do not support self-administration of Propofol.

As if there wasn’t enough evidence against Murray, he’s going to have a tough time arguing his way out of why he administered Propofol when it was not necessary, and ended up being the cause of Michael’s death.
