Coroner on Michael Jackson's Death: No Foul Play

The LA County Coroner just held a press conference to announce that Michael Jackson's autopsy has been completed. He said that there was no trauma to Michael’s body and there was “no indication of foul play.” However the Coroner did note that Michael had been “taking prescription medications.”

The coroner did not announce the official cause of Jackson’s death because more testing is necessary, including a toxicology report that must be completed. This will take about 4-6 weeks, but may be expedited.

The coroner also added that Michael was officially pronounced dead in the ER of UCLA Medical. His body will be released after 6PM.
